Today we begin a couple days of recording at the Station House with Engineer Mark Rains. We are very excited to see how nice our songs when recorded with more than 2 microphones and an Mbox. We will hopefully have 5ish songs for you all to enjoy very soon. Thank you for all the well wishes as we push off onto our maiden voyage of rock and or roll. We will be updating you via twitter from the studio.
Get Ready for some shows in Oct. and Nov. and if you have any suggestions on who you’d like to see us play with, give us all the information about the band. Make sure these bands are not good at all. These are self esteem boosting shows. The worse, the better. If these bands have broken bones and missing band members, this is a plus. If they have broken instruments and are missing their mothers… this is also a good thing…
talk soon, (from the studio)
Stamps.
What’s up party people?!
I’m gearing up for the show tonight by drinking the coldest coffee available. We are so excited, even without the coffee, for everything coming up. We have a nice holiday break to see the families. Ian is heading up to Canada, Ren back to Houston and AdJam and I are headed to freezing Chicago, where I get to play a show with The Hush Sound.
In January, we have a nice little run of shows in SD, SF, LV, LA, and a few more tbd’s, I’m sure. And, we couldn’t be more excited about sweating it out, down in Austin TX for this year’s South By Southwest Festival. Always a good time. I’d suggest you start planning now if you’d like to go. We are plotting a tour to the midwest and beyond (hopefully) in conjunction with the SXSW showcase.
We are planning on putting out some b-sides from “Tramps” in a few months. We are calling it “Gramps”, then quitting the rhyming game. It got too real.
We are sending out all the packages that you generous folks ordered tomorrow, and for those of you who wanted certain items in the store that didn’t come in the package you bought, they will be available individually in our web store beginning tonight at midnight.
Talk to you soon,
Bob
