Studio update #6002…

Adam, Ren and Adam K. are with me in this warm and cozy wooden studio.  We are listening to a few of the takes we did back at the Station House with Mark (november) Rains.  I’m amazed at how different this is from TRAMPS by STAMPS and I can’t tell you how excited we all are for you to hear these bad boys.

In My Head

I have two sing 2 songs left to sing still.  One is called “when ya gonna come back” and the other is called “long distance lover.”  The later is a song I wrote in the midst of the great confusion which was one of the last tours with Hush.  It’s changed a bit since I wrote it originally, but the meat of it is the same.  “When ya gonna come back” was the last song to come together for this album and I think it’s one of my favorites ever in the history of the world.

The new members of the gang arrive on March 1st to commence the readying for SXSW, which we cannot wait for.  We will surely play as many of these new songs as we possibly can.  We will also post some new songs soon.
